21st April – Still Incubating

Incubation has gone well and hopefully in the next few days, the first egg(s) will hatch.

One difference I have noticed with this nest is that the male Great Tit seems to call the female out of the box, when he has some food to give to her. In other nests I have seen the male come into the bird box to feed the female. I hope he is going to help feed the young chicks!
