I feel like a stuck record for the last few days. Finally today I can count the number of eggs laid!
After a short time, the female Great Tit woke up, stretched her wings and left the nest box. However, this time she did not cover the nest and I was able to count seven eggs!
The first egg was laid on 3rd April, so if I am correct and she has laid one each day, the seventh egg should have been laid on 9th April.
Is seven the finally total or will she lay more?
