Sparrows have sadly seen a decline in my area and do not visit my garden very often at all \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After completing some work on the camera system, I turned the cameras on to check inside my three boxes.  Inside Box 3, I could see some pieces of grass had been brought into the box.  After not seeing any of my boxes used for a few years, I waited to see what was using the box.  After waiting for 20 minutes a female House Sparrow entered the box and preformed a number of nesting wiggles! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"308\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bitn.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/05.jpg\" alt=\"Female House Sparrow Nest Wiggles\" class=\"wp-image-229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bitn.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/05.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.bitn.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/05-300x231.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bitn.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/05-24x18.jpg 24w, https:\/\/www.bitn.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/05-36x28.jpg 36w, https:\/\/www.bitn.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/05-48x37.jpg 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><figcaption>Female House Sparrow Nest Wiggles<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly afterwards the male Sparrow came in with some more grass and then left in a hurry as the female made him leave the box.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visits continued for most of the morning before stopping in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the evening I turned on the camera to see if the female House Sparrow had roosted in the box.
