During September 2007 both boxes were cleaned out and from October 2007 a Blue Tit has been roosting inside Blue Tit box 1 and sometimes box 2. Occasionally we also have a roosting Blue Tit in both our boxes.

Below I have included information about each camera and how it is set up.

Outside Camera For Blue Tit Box 1

This camera is a mini colour CCTV camera, purchased at Maplins. It is powered by a 12V power supply. The camera connects to our TV set & PC by phono leads, and a DVD recorder, with a internal hard drive is used to record video as well. Sadly this camera has no microphone so no sound can sadly be recorded.

Outside Camera For Blue Tit Box 2

This camera is a Labtech Pro webcam. This connects to our PC by a USB connection, and can be set to detect motion, with the software included.

Blue Tit Box 1 Camera

This camera is a mini colour CCTV camera, purchased at Maplins. It is powered by a 12V power supply. The camera connects to our TV set & PC by phono leads. A DVD recorder is used to record video as well.

Blue Tit Box 2 Camera

This camera is a mini colour CCTV camera, purchased at Maplins. It has a built-in microphone and is powered by a 12V power supply. The camera connects to our TV set by phono leads. A VCR recorder is used to record video as well
