I was hoping things would change, but sadly the male and female House Sparrow abandoned their nest (in Box 3) on 10th April 2021.
After this, there was a number of visits made to Box 1 by the pair. They did bring in some bits of material but gave up on the box around 19th April 2021.
Since then the male House Sparrow has been calling from the roof area of our neighbours house, so it looks like they may have found a hole to nest in up there.
This sadly, appears to bring an end to the 2021 nesting season for me and my diary entries.
I will still keep an eye on the boxes, just in case anything changes. If it does then I will be back 🙂
