Over the last few days we have seen the number of visits to boxes 1 & 3 increase. Today we left all the cameras on again to count and try to work out how many birds we have.
Visits to Box 1 were high and an impressive 32 visits were made during the day. Out of these 10 visits included nest wiggles. Visits to Box 3 were also high with three nest wiggles made and around 24 visits.
We are beginning to wonder if the pair from box 1 & box 3 are the same pair and are just visiting each box? We have yet to see a pair in both box 1 & box 3 at the same time. This would help us work out how many birds we have. We have even tried to look at the images we have captured to see if we can spot any differences. So far they look the same.
