In Spring 2009 we had another pair of Blue Tits use one of our bird boxes. The pair successfully managed to build a nest and a total of nine eggs were laid.
Eight eggs successfully hatched and all eight chicks fledged successfully.
On 28th December 2009 we saw a pair of Blue Tits visit both boxes 1 and 2. This was the earliest we have ever seen this happen.
We had cameras located inside and outside the boxes, monitoring the birds.
