October 2006 Diary - 23rd - 29th October 2006

23rd October

Our rooster returned at 17:30 and used box 1.

24th October

There were ten visits made to box 1, during the daytime. Our rooster returned at 17:20 and used box 1.

25th October

Four visits were made to box 1, during the day. The weather in the evening was very wet and windy. Our rooster returned at 17:10 and used box 1.

26th October

Our rooster used box 1. It returned around 17:20. We will be brining news on our old bird box in the 27th October diary entry.

27th October

Visitors to our website in March & April will remember we had two Blue Tit boxes, before we built the new improved ones. The old boxes did not get binned, when the new boxes were put up. Instead they have been repainted, had metal plates put on the front of the entrance holes and have now been put up in our local nature reserve. We will be keeping an eye on the boxes and will hopefully be reporting on them from time to time.

Our rooster returned at 17:00 and used box 1.

28th October

Twenty visits were made to box 1 and ten to box 2, during the day. Our rooster returned at 17:10 and used box 1.

29th October

Our rooster returned at 17:05 and used box 1.
