March 2006 Diary

The weather is so cold, finding things to write about in this diary is currently difficult. But . . . .

Finally we have some birds visiting our new bird table. A few Starlings have been taking the bread from the top of the table. Sadly I was at work, when told, so I could not take any photos.

The weather has been so cold that this March could be on record for one of the coldest, ever recorded.

Not much nesting activity has been happening. Visits to both our boxes are still happening, but the cold weather is certainly having an effect. One of our boxes is still showing signs of being cleaned out. With no signs of any real warm weather on the way nesting could be late this year. Spring is certainly going to be very late.
