With the snow still laying getting around is proving fun at the moment.
Visits have continued to our boxes, with box 1 seeing the most activity. Over the last few days there has been one very busy Blue Tit, cleaning the box. No visits were recorded today of the pair, and I hope the cold weather does not cause problems for them.
Today, over in our local nature reserve we have added another feeding area for the birds. It was amazing that within two minutes of us setting and filling the feeders two Robin came to feed. The next day I must have counted 12+ birds feeding. It proves just how hard our feathered friends are finding it to survive and collect food.
Upon checking the boxes tonight we had no roosters.
Our next diary update will be on Friday 15th January |
