The weather was, for a change, dry and quiet warm. Visits to box 1 were high with around 24 visits being made during the day. Today I left the PC monitoring the boxes instead of the DVD recorder.

When I went through all the images I saw two images from Box 1 that looked like nest wiggles! With that I turned on the DVD recorder in the hope I could verify this, and I did not have to wait long.

Three nesting wiggles were observed and recorded in box 1 after only five minutes of me turning on the DVD recorder!

The male visited the entrance hole whilst this was going on but was warned off from entering. After performing around six wiggles the female spent a few minutes cleaning it's wings.

So with nesting wiggles happening it looks like Box 1 will have a nest this year, providing nothing else goes wrong!

Box 3 saw another single visit today but again no entries were made inside.
