Firstly Happy New Year to all our visitors

Today saw lots of activity to boxes 1 & 3, during the morning.

Box 1

Around ten visits were made to box 1 from around 09:00 - 11:00. Two of these visits included a pair visting and cleaning the box. With so many visits are we going to see this pair use box 1 to nest in? It is too early yet to say.

Box 3

Box 3 saw two visits at around 09:20. No entries were made inside but a Blue Tit inspected the entrance hole, and even cleaned it's feathers

Looking at the photos & video I think it may be the same male (Adam) who used box 3 last year (2009)

So with a possible pair in box 1 and visits to box 3, will we have one nest or two this year? Time will tell and we will keep you all updated.
